HIC Red Gingham Apron Review

I'm the kind of person who can't be trusted in the kitchen unless I'm wearing an apron. I seem to acquire spots, smears and whatnot with ease, so need an apron at all times, even washing dishes...yes, by hand! Some aprons are thick and stiff, some too long...or too short, some forget that one size does NOT fit all! But, this apron is JUST RIGHT for me. I'm a short female 5'2" so don't like them down at my ankles, this hits just below the knee, has a D-ring for neck adjustment, long enough ties to make a good bow, is soft and love the color. I've only washed it once since getting it a few days ago, and it needed ironing, so if you don't like wrinkled aprons, you might want to try Gourmet Classics' poly/cotton mix. I'm just wierd enough to enjoy ironing ( it's so satisfying to see the puckers all smooth out in the steam! ) so that isn't an issue with me, just add it to the napkins and tablecloths on ironing day. I'll be adding the black & white check and would hope that they might come out with some other colors. I might also try the poly/cotton to get one in white or red. I do reccommend this apron, especially if you aren't into all the designs, just want a servicable apron.
