I looked everywhere for placemats that would fit my kitchen table. After purchasing and taking back a slew of them that were too big or just didn't look right on the table, I came across these. They work very well. Although they are wipeable, if you wipe the top with a damp cloth, because they are not solid, you will have to pick them up and also dry the table. However, for me that is a minor inconvenience, due to the fact that these are the first mats that work well as far as size and looks. In addition, the price is great!! Everything else I found was more than three times the price of these mats.
