I bought these for washing dishes at home. I was sick of replacing sponges and trying to keep dishrags in good clean condition. These rinse easily and never smell. They're textured enough to help scrub away a mess but they won't scratch the pan. They do hold a stain after washing something icky but it washes out in the laundry. They don't hold water so I drip dry them over the sink so I don't get a puddle, and I do have to use a dishrag for wiping up the counter. They get in the crevices of my plastic leftovers containers way better than my sponges did.
