The kids like these placemats, and I don't regret buying them, but they aren't lasting very long. I've had them for a couple months and the color is already wearing off in several places. They seem to be fine with very gentle treatment and washings, but if we don't wash right way then food gets crusted and requires a little scrubbing. That scrubbing also removes the design. This is especially noticeable on the full-color sides. Even just taking a wet paper towel and wiping off the crayons has caused parts of the design to be removed. The table setting one is the most popular. I wish I could get a pack with just those.
