I prefer a flour-sack-style towel rather than a waffle or terry towel, and these are a good example of the type, thin but absorbent. The colors are beautiful.

However, after only two warm-water washes, they have shrunk lengthwise about two inches.

(I realize that the instructions say wash in cold water, but anything that can't be washed in warm water is not realistic for kitchen use!)
