I didn't think I'd have to go on line to order oven mitts, but not the case. I wanted mitts that didn't have silicone, rubber, kevlar, or mithril. I also didn't want ribbons, bows, or chickens. Just a pair of plain mitts that would bend with my hands, have a thumb in the general area where my thumb is, fit my small hands and also my husband's large ones, and not end at my armpits Finally, they had to be able to go into the washing machine. These answered my needs, and by the way at a much better price than all those fancy ones.
