I've been looking for a kitchen mat, but we can't afford the price of most of them. This one is 1/10th of the price of the ones I saw elsewhere. So I jumped on it, knowing there was probably some justification for the price gap.
Yup.
This is thinner than the others, and isn't the softest foam. But it's a lot more cushion than my tile floors! Plus, it's easy to clean and doesn't slide around--two more pros for me. Yes, it's a little cheap, but for us, the price and the function are perfect, and once the edges flattened out after being laid out for a bit, it looks pretty much the same as the others in my opinion. If I don't like it three months from now, well, then I didn't take too much of a risk. But I think it's fine, especially for the price.
