These work decently enough, but only on standard thickness picnic tables. The concrete cast ones that you find at many campgrounds will be too thick for these to work. On the standard thickness tables, I've found that I have to still keep an eye on the tablecloth when winds come up and periodically readjust the clamps. I've not tried metal ones yet, but for the price these work well enough.
