Digital Hygrometer () Review

This is a very good digital temperature and humidity meter. I like the easy-to-read display, how responsive the device is to changes in the surrounding environment, and the minimum/maximum memory functionality. For these reasons, I rated the device with five stars.

I do have a few comments about the digital hygrometer sent to me:
1. The image of what is being sold shows three devices. The actual meter is the one on the right with five buttons.
2. My meter arrived already turned on (the "red protective tabs" had been removed from the two AAA alkaline batteries), and the display was showing the temperature in Celsius. Fahrenheit is shown in the product image, and I found by reading the included instructions that the temperature display can easily be changed using a switch in the battery compartment.
3. At the time of purchase, I thought that I was buying a Cardinal Health branded device based upon the product description, however, the product branding has since changed.
4. I made my purchase on March 31, 2012. My meter is scheduled for recalibration on November 2, 2013. Recalibration *currently* costs USD $17 plus shipping (the related form can be found by searching under <...> and clicking on "Recalibration").
