I had searched for matching hand towels and dish clothes for probably six months locally as well as on line. Quality sets are hard to find. I have a nice towel stand by my kitchen sink that I have the hand towel on one bar and the dish cloth on the other. Easier access than a bar or ring on the door under the sink but it is out in the open for everyone to see so I wanted something matching that looks nicer. What I had been using were simple white waffle like dish cloths with colored terry hand towels. I bought one set of these towels along with 2 sets of the matching dish clothes in the taupe color. They look great. Even my husband was impressed. I figured over time I'd use 2 clothes to each towel which was smart. The clothes do get dirtier than the towels with the wiping down of the stove, counters and soiled pans, etc. After a couple months use, the white in the dish clothes are starting to look a bit dungy next to the hand towel. Probably need to add a bit of color safe bleach to the wash to help keep the whites sparkly. Still, they look great and hopefully I am set for a couple years.
