We have been looking, searching for suitable placemats for YEARS. I know, it shouldn't be so hard, right? I need to be able to wash them, and the variety of fabric ones we bought (some ridiculously expensive ones at that) came out of the laundry crumpled and/or deformed. I refuse to iron placemats- who has time for that? I gave up on finding a low-maintenance fabric type and bought these. So far so good. I'm not one to get all excited about something as silly as placemats, but I can finally move on. They were inexpensive, do the job, and are easy to clean.
