Time to Tell Time Placemat Review

My daughter enjoyed this placemat when she was 5 through 7 years old and learning to tell time. It shows analog clock faces for each hour 1:00 through 12:00 as well as analog clock faces showing every 5 mins. for 3:05 through 3:55. It also shows digital time for 12:01, 1:07, 2:13, 3:19, 4:22, 5:29, 6:31, 7:38, 8:42, 9:43, 10:49, and 11:56. The front is in color and the back is grayscale with a large blank analog clock face and large blank digital clock. There are times (some numerical, some written out in text) that the kids can draw in with a watercolor marker (instructions are to wipe it with a damp cloth) though we haven't tried that to see how well it works. There are also questions for "What Time Do You? 1. Wake Up, 2. Eat Breakfast, 3. Eat Lunch, 4. Eat Dinner, 5. Have A Snack, 6. Play With Friends, 7. Go To Sleep, and 8. Take A Nap". I would have preferred that the questions not use title case since that's not teaching kids the proper way to write, but at least the questions are things that young kids can relate to.

This placemat is not sufficient to teach a child to tell time on his/her own, but it's a good supplement for practicing time telling while the child is learning it in school.
