I am a software developer, recently turned full-time telecommuter for an out of state team, and decided to get a stand-up desk for my home office.

I quickly experienced my feet and joints get uncomfortably fatigued after standing stationary for many hours, and looked online for some solutions.

After using some crappy bathroom floor mats that lost their spring with-in a few days/weeks, I decided to go big or go home. In August, 2012 I bought one of these rather spendy ($100) mats and have since been able to stand for the standard 8-12 hours with only a few sitting breaks in between (my desk has a small electric lift, so it's easy to raise and lower). It has not lost its spring at all, no curled edges, and looks the same as the day it arrived.

Some things I like about it:

1) Very high quality
2) Corners taper flush to the floor (so it doesn't shift, and I don't trip on it)
3) Easy to clean (bare feet grime goes completely away with the wipe of a soapy washcloth)
4) Thick enough to flex my toes on (weird habit perhaps, but I find it satisfying to dig my toes into it)

I plan on getting 3 more of these for my kitchen, but as Damodar Chetty mentioned in a previous review, the larger sizes are out of stock and appear to be so until March 1st.

I highly recommend this product, and friends who try out my computer set-up generally do an "oooh-ahhh" when they step on it.
