I plan on replacing ALL of my household towels with microfiber towels just like this one. It does not have any "pile" at all, super thin and lightweight, yet super soft and silky too. Absorbs great! I actually "tested" it side by side with a traditional cotton bath towel. Measured the water I put on (in) them. Microfiber absorbed more with no dripping. I rung-out the cotton towel and hung to dry. Not supposed to ring (twist) microfiber, so I folded it and pressed out as much water as i could. The microfiber was dry in 95 minutes. Cotton was still wet after 4 hours. I cannot say enough how impressed I am!! The only setback to replacing ALL of my traditional towels is the price.
