I used to buy my dishcloths at the supermarket; they were thin, inexpensive, and started to fray after a few washings, but just fine for my needs. The supermarket became too upscale to sell dischclothes, and I've been looking for another source. Finally I thought about Amazon and found these. They're a little more expensive than the ones I'd used, but having the netting sewn to one side sounded like a good idea and worth the extra money. I was surprised to find out just how good these are. They are bigger (about 11" square) and sturdier and have held up after several washings; the netting is well sewn-on and shows no signs of coming off the cloth. I no longer use a separate scrubber sponge when wiping up dishes and pans; so each day I throw my cloth/scrubber into the laundry and don't have a separate scrubber sitting around growing germs.

For just a little over $1 each these cloths are a good bargain.
