I'd give this a 5 star but they are a bit clumsy getting them on. However, they are great oven mitts. I cooked for 45 people Saturday night and had to lift very large trays filled to the brim with chicken parts. The pans were very heavy and held at least 25 pieces of chicken. The gloves were great and though a bit clumsy putting them on, they made me feel very secure lifting such large pans. You do feel some heat but not much. Being a woman with smaller hands, they were fine but my husband could not get them on...too small so keep that in mind when purchasing. Overall, a good purchase. Can't tell you what a heartbreak it is to drop a cooked baking pan and losing good food to the floor because the oven mitts didn't do their job. These do a very good job.
