After taking a big European trip with our kids this summer (11 countries, thousands of miles, priceless memories), my children wanted a map to they could hang and mark each country they'd visited. I found this one and it fits the bill perfectly. It's small enough that they can each handle, and the lamination make it sturdy enough that they can take it down from the wall and take to school for show & tell. I do wish the colors were a little brighter, but everything is clearly marked, easy to read for an elementary age student.
