Heritage Lace Going Batty 14-Inch by 48-Inch Runner, Black Review

From a distance these look like they are either embroidered or appliqued on but they are not, they are woven in as part of the lace. This looks best over a contrasting solid color tablecloth so the design really pops. Orange is great for a taditional look, purple and red look best (in my opinion), lighter grey looks nice if you want a very subtle effect, off-white, ecru, beige or a tea stained cloth gave it an "aged" appearance but I didn't like white (it seemed too stark).

I usually go with the deep purples and deep reds to contrast with all the black I use because it just looks better with my haunted mansion/vampire lair theme. I do throw in some "aged" off-white (I use tea or coffee stained cheese cloth which I buy by the bolt at the fabric store) to create the look of old disintegrating drapes.

I have purchased several Heritage Lace Halloween items, namely everything I can find in the bat and spider web motifs, and they are all excellent quality. Umm, I take that back. YOU don't want to buy any of this stuff. Seriously, take it out of your cart right now because it's mine I tell you, ALL MINE. MY PRECIOUS!!!!!

Just as promised, any liquid poured on the tablecloth will bead up initially. The material is very soft. This has also seen the washer many times and it still looks like new. I had bought one of these in "Sun" for over twice as much I paid for them on Amazon. Amazon really has a great deal on these. You can't buy a microfiber tablecloth for this price at even Wal-Mart. I really can't say enough good things about this tablecloth.

These are fabulous tablecloths. I needed 10 for a charity event so I wanted a good product at a good price. I couldn't have done better. I ordered 10 ivory ones (two different sizes) on a Saturday night and they arrived by Wednesday. The quality is much better than even more expensive ones. I like the true hemmed seams and the nice weight of the fabric. The best part is the stain and wrinkle resistance of the fabric. When our event was over, we had to clean up and pack up quickly; so the tablecloths just got balled up and put in a huge bag. The next day, I pulled them out to wash them and saw that the one from the wine table was covered with red wine stains. The one from the dessert table was also filled with many stains, including chocolate. I considered just throwing those two away as I was sure they would not come clean. To my surprise, they came out spotless! These are ivory tablecloths that now look just as good as they did new, even washed in cold water. (I wash all of my laundry in cold water with Tide Cold Water detergent.) I have already bought two more (in round sizes) to use in my home. My only disappointment is they only come in white, black, and ivory; if they came in more colors, I would order more.
