Bought this for my 2 year old grandson who has recently discovered Thomas the tank engine. He likes the place mat a lot and chatters about Thomas, Percy, and James while he eats. I also bought a booster seat and he feels like a "big boy" sitting at the table now, both things are a great little incentive for him to stay put at the table and actually eat! As far as quality it's strictly average, a little overpriced but worth it for me; it's hard to find Thomas stuff like this at local stores and much easier to order from Amazon and get it shipped to my door in 2 days with Prime.
