I got this mat as a gift. It replaced a thinner cushiony mat I had before. Until I got the Smart Step, I thought the other mat was pretty cushy. However, I was unhappy with the way it "stuck" to the floor as though it had a residue on the back side. I LOVE the Smartstep mat!! It is so much more comfortable than the mat I had before and there is no sticky residue on the back. I have hardwood floors in my kitchen and am on my feet all day for work. I also deal with plantar fasciitis so have very tired and sore feet by the end of the day. I keep the mat by my kitchen sink and it is a relief to my feet to stand on. It is also very easy to clean. I vacuum and mop it whenever I clean my kitchen floor. Everyone who comes over falls in love with the mat. I plan to purchase more to give as special gifts to friends and family.

This is so cool! It looks like a pot holder but scrubs like a bandit. These beautiful little towels scrub eggs from the frying pan without scratching the Teflon and rinse clean. No, sticky mess. Bought this for my 2 year old grandson who has recently discovered Thomas the tank engine. He likes the place mat a lot and chatters about Thomas, Percy, and James while he eats. I also bought a booster seat and he feels like a "big boy" sitting at the table now, both things are a great little incentive for him to stay put at the table and actually eat! As far as quality it's strictly average, a little overpriced but worth it for me; it's hard to find Thomas stuff like this at local stores and much easier to order from Amazon and get it shipped to my door in 2 days with Prime.
