These are now the thinnest potholders I have. I went by another reviewer who said they were thick. She must have had some very thin ones before buying these. These are OK, but I can feel the heat coming through on things baked at just 325�. So my quest continues for the type of potholders that I used to be able to purchase---nice, thick terry, but still flexible. I hope my old ones hang in there longer.

I found some potholders at a local grocery store, and purchased them, hoping that the terry would be thicker. I almost fell over to discover that they were the EXACT same potholder, just rebranded. These are basically just generics.

Ordered these so my parents would have safe oven mitts for lifting hot things in and out of oven and on and off stovetop. The mitts are terrific, and one saw its baptism in fire when my 88 year old father lost his grip on a 15+ pound turkey he was lifting from the roasting pan and (luckily!) caught it with his hand encased in one of these mitts. Into the washer and dryer went that mitt, and when it emerged, it was at least 25% smaller than its unwashed partner.

As I said, these are great, but remember that they will shrink a lot. I'm not sure how long they will last, but they performed nicely for my dad on Christmas Day :)

Since cleaning is my business I work a lot with microfiber cloths and tried those out the first time today. In my opinion they are pretty overpriced considering they are the size of a handkerchief , they are pretty flimsy and not any better than some others available by the dozen for this price in twice the size. The statement that they soak up seven times their weight in water is ridiculous considering they hardly weigh anything. They pick up dust and get mirrors bright and shiny, but that's what microfiber does, not a wonder.

I first ordered these towels for $25.00 and received very nice thick towels. Love them. Two days later I noticed they came down in price to $19.00 and ordered another pack. These towels were very thin and not at all like the picture except they were white. Some of them were very dirty also. I'm sending them back. No wonder they were reduced in price. Not worth $19.00. 5 stars for the first pack, 1 star for the second pack.

I haven't had to wash it yet but I have ironed it and the creases came out wonderfully!! What can I say, they are pot holders and they do the job. I was looking for something to bring my Amazon order up to the $25 minimum for free shipping and remembered I had burned up my old potholders so... Frankly you could probably get the same thing cheaper at a store but these worked out just fine. I don't like the big oven mitts, and I like being able to use these to protect countertops from hot pans.
